Darwin Deez Diagnosis (Indie)

This American indie band had me hooked ever since I heard Bad Day last year, and they're good enough that I want to bring them back for the summer.  Thankfully, it turns out that Darwin Deez is more than just a one-hit-wonder.  Their self titled album has a few side effects to keep things mellow and down to earth.

Good Feel: Daily Double

Second post of the day.  This blog is the first of its kind with many like it to follow.  My hopes are to provide the 'interwebs' with a list of blogs called the Good Feel.  What does this mean?  Well, it means that you're in for a real treat.  No matter when you listen to these blogs you'll... feel good (especially you Jessi!)

The Givers know what's Up Up Up
Martin Solveig - The Night Out

Let's Party! (Electro House/Trance)

Yeah, I know it's Monday but that's never stopped us before.  Here's a couple of tunes that'll make you feel right at home.  The brilliant Party Days remix is a smooth blend of electro house magic with some slick 80's sounding transitions popping in.  Then Barnett Lobel throws us a bit of a curve ball in his track Yours Tonight.  I love his intensity matched up with Sue's beautiful vocals.

Zelda Remixes Are Highly Contagious (Electro House/Dubstep)

Okay, so I couldn't help myself.  I saw some Zelda remixes and started drooling before I even pressed play.  I can't help myself, these games were a part of my childhood.  Even if you're not a Zelda fan you can't help but bob your head to these gems.  So get sick and start breaking your necks already!  As for Zedd, I've been paying closer attention to him after I heard he was opening for Skrillex at the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis.  He's pretty impressive and I can't wait to hopefully, maybe, might, possibly, sort of see him on July 1st.  Trust me, I really want to go.

Ephixa - Lost Woods (Ephixa Dubstep Remix)

Pretty Lights Diagnosis (Electronic)

If you haven't yet heard of Derek Smith (aka Pretty Lights) you need to get your stuff together.  Not many artists dish out their songs for free like they're no big deal, but Pretty Lights makes me act like I'm James Woods from Family Guy excited for another piece of candy. I just heard the slick mashup from hypem and couldn't wait to share it with you.

Passion Pit Remixed (Alternative)

I know, I know. So we've all heard a million remixes of tracks from the Manners album by Passion Pit, but every now and then we catch something really fresh. This remix of Sleepyhead is one of those cases.

Skrillex: Side Effects Include Super Human Abilities (Dubstep)

So I guess everyone else already knew, but there's a Skrillex thief on the loose and they released one of Sonny Moore's songs without his permission.  Ruffneck Bass is the name and it came out a while back.  Then what does Skrillex do to stuff it back in this guy's face?  He makes a whole new song!  Thank you Skrillex :)

Skrillex - Ruffneck (Flex)

A Case Of The DnB Virus (Drum & Bass)

I figured that I could throw out a couple ill effects in DnB.  Let the madness rain!  Camo & Krooked definitely have the best side effect in this batch if you want to get your heart pumping.  Then, to slow you back down, enjoy the very trance-like Big Blue.

Breezeblock - Camo & Krooked
Brookes Brothers - Big Blue

Apply Pressure To Wound (Progressive House)

Alesso has just injected us with a beautiful yet intense remix of Pressure.  The thick synth gave me the chills at the beat drop.  Enjoy getting sick over this!
